POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Creative World Children’s Academy is licensed through the Washoe County Department of Social Services for 95 children with four separate classrooms from ages two through Kindergarten. Each of our classrooms is designed by age and developmental needs of the children. In order to provide and maintain the highest quality program possible, Creative World’s child-to-staff ratios are lower than Washoe County requirements.

SAFETY
All staff members are CPR and First Aide Certified and have passed FBI background checks and TB tests. All the staff are required to take classes in Child Abuse and Neglect, Communicable Disease, Nutrition and continuing educational classes pertaining to Early Childhood Education throughout their employment with Creative World.

HOURS & DAYS OF OPERATIONS
Creative World Children’s Academy is open:
Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

HEALTH DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS
Washoe County Regulations require that all children have a current immunization record before attending and a well-child check-up from a physician.

CLASSROOM PLACEMENT
All children will be placed in the classroom that is appropriate for their age and/or developmental stage when entering Creative World. Except for a few exceptions throughout the year and then only if the child is socially, emotionally and academically ready the child’s transition from one classroom to another will take place as a group in August of every year.

"I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful school. My son has been enrolled for two years and my daughter has been going for one year. The owner is so hands on and involved. She has such pride in her business and loves the children on a personal basis. The staff is wonderful, the school is beautiful and clean, the activities are so educational. This is absolutely a school and not a daycare. I have raved about it to my friends and once they saw for themselves they made transfers from other schools. Take the time to tour this school.
